The West African Examinations Council has finally released its results after a little wait and it turns out that over half the students who sat for the exam have at least 5 credits in subjects including mathematics and English.
This came as a surprise because this year result even happens to be better than that of last year despite the break in the students studies and the numerous months spent at home.
Well, this only points to the fact that either WAEC lowered their standards or the students did much better because they were able to study at their own pace rather than being under pressure as they would have been if school was in session.
