It is no news that Al-Qaeda already infiltrated the Northwest of Nigeria as well as other parts of west Africa and are advancing by the day.
Now, not only do Nigerians have to worry about Boko Haram and al-Qaeda terrorists, but also ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham) as they are now looking into making inroads in Southern Nigeria.
This intel came from the Commander of the US special operations command, Africa, Dagvin Anderson during a media briefing. He also promised to share more intel with the Nigerian Government and keep them up to date with terrorist movements.
The truth is, Nigeria is yet to handle common bandits, local kidnappers and terrorists like Boko Haram. What then will happen if ISIS join those who terrorize Nigeria?
Will this be the point when the Nigerian Government will give up and finally request for foreign aid? Or do you think that the country is capable of handling another terrorist organization?
