The National Working Committee (NWC) of Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been dissolved!
This was happened at the NEC meeting that held in Abuja today. The president’s aides announced this on Twitter.
Even if Tolu claims nobody was being targeted by this, is it true?
What happens to Chief Victor Giadom that convened the NEC meeting as the Acting Chairman of the party? Does it mean he has been removed? Does this mean there is no hope of the former Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, returning as the Chairman?
There has been several write-ups in the media of people bashing Tinubu. Is this is a loss to him especially as it concerns his purported presidential ambition in 2023? Don’t forget that his Cousin, governor of Osun is also a member of the caretaker committee that was just announced.
What happens to APC after this, because it has been reported that the Oshiomhole-Led NWC is heading to the courts to challenge the dissolution of the NWC? Will the party stand after this level of intra-party fights?
Who are the biggest winners and losers of this development? Even though some people have said it is a win-win, I do not believe that. Surely, there must be some who won (or are winning) more than others?
