After President Buhari gave his independence day speech, Nigerians wasted no time in pointing out his flaws as a president and at his tweets since he likened the prices of fuel in other fuel producing country’s to that of Nigeria.
Nigerians took to his tweeter page to educate him better on the minimum wage Saudi Arabia pays its workers.
Further afield, Egypt charges N211 per litre. Saudi Arabia charges N168 per litre. It makes no sense for oil to be cheaper in Nigeria than in Saudi Arabia.— Muhammadu Buhari (@MBuhari) October 1, 2020
Was Buhari right to do this? Do you think his approach in comparing fuel prices is flawed?
