Nigerian Government Adopts a Midnight Curfew

Nigeria never fails to disappoint. It turns out that our very own Nigerian Government has adjusted the curfew to 12 midnight to 4 in the morning.

This seems to be the most impractical of all curfews because this is the time that there is usually little or no movement.
Everyone is usually in bed by this allocated time, but the Nigerian Government has decided that this is the best time for Nigeria to observe a curfew.

Sani Aliyu, the National Coordinator of the Presidential Taskforce in Covid-19 claims that this will ensure that nightclubs and bars will remain closed until further notice.

I believe that this allocated time designated to the curfew was born out of the need to just produce a curfew even if it will be ineffective, if not, what else can it be?
