The same Government that declared that it will lift Nigerian’s out of abject poverty has just taken another step into ensuring that they remain poor. Fuel price have now been increased to N212 from N162 per litre.

And this is coming after they promised Nigerian’s a couple of months ago that will be no increase in the fuel price after Nigerians heard a rumour that a litre of fuel will be increased to N200 and they decided to start hoarding it.

How do you think that this will affect the economy at large?

Is the Nigerian Government not ment? What could have caused the sudden increase of petrol while deep in a recession?

At this point, there must also be an increase in minimum wage and salaries, else I don’t see how the general public can cope with this.
