After receiving a mandate from the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi declared that the Lagos-Abuja Rail will be opened for use in January 2021.
Then he said that the train ticket will cost between N3000 to N6000. He further went and broke down the price for the train tickets.
The train will house three different class just as an airplane does.
The N3000 train ticket will be for the Economy Class, while the Business Class goes for N5000 and then the First Class which will go for N6000.
How fair, do you think these prices are?
The use of a train to commute to Lagos and Ibadan should be nothing but a fantastic one.
I believe that this will be much safer as trains are one of the safest means of transportation in the world.
It will also serve as an alternative to beat the the Lagos Ibadan express way traffic.
What do you think about this new route between Lagos to Ibadan? Will you be willing to go through this route come 2021?
