Of course we all know that there’s no smoke without a fire burning somewhere, but this is Nigeria. Even if there is a fire burning right in front to us and there is smoke everywhere, the Nigerian Government will still tell us that there is no fire neither is there smoke.
So it turns out that a rumor-like news has been going around about how Ibikunle Amosun, former governor of Ogun State, transferred a sum of N12.5 million from the state government account to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , when he was still the governor.
Well, Buhari’s senior special assistant on media and publicity, Garba Shehu has debunked the news as he claimed that no such thing happened, and the news going around should be classified as fake news.
So, what do you think the real truth is here? Is it possible that Buhari really received the N12.5m from Amosun or not?
