Lagos State Doctors To Begin Strike On Monday

The Lagos State Doctors will embark on a three days warning strike from Monday.

This warning strike is as a result of an expired 21 days ultimatum and even a 2 weeks extension given to the Lagos State Government concerning not meeting the demands of the Guild.

There are several demands in the guild that have still been unattended to by the Lagos State Government. Some these demands includes the payment of two months salary owed to doctors working in the Covid-19 isolation Centers, wages disparity between the federal and state doctors amongst others.

Does engaging in strike action against the government solve problems in Nigeria? Don’t you think that the people/patients are more affected with doctors on strike than the government?

What other methods do you think will be effective to enforce the government to fulfill their promised duties ?
