It’s no news that price of petrol has risen from N158 to N170 in Nigeria. This which is quite an uncomfortable time for such hike as every other commodities are now expensive hence the inconvenience attached to this sudden hike.
Well, the Nigerian Labour Congress has come to the aid of Nigerians as they have demanded that the price for petrol be reverted to its former price or they go on a full and indefinite strike.
The reason for this; the increase in the price violates the agreement made between the union and the Federal Government.
I also believe that the union empathizes with Nigerians as they perceive that this is not the best of times for an increase the price of petrol which is something the Federal Government clearly lacks. What do you think about this?
Why exactly did the Government inflate the prices of petrol at a time like this?
