The reopening of schools has been suspended by the Education Minister. He made the announcement while speaking to the State House Correspondents in Abuja.
The Minister, Mallam Adamu declaraed that there is no date for the resumption of schools and that the secondary school final year students will not participate in the upcoming WAEC Examinations.
This prompts us to ask if this decision is really for the safety of the students or a mere play of politics between the Education Minister and the Minister of State for Education who announced the reopening of schools.
Do you think suspending the reopening of schools is a good move for this country or do you think it is necessary for the safety of the students?
Other Schools all over the world have started resuming haven put safety measures in place or have shifted to online classes for the 2020/2021 session, what should be Nigeria’s next move in this respect?
Do government schools have the resources for online classes or will their students remain at home doing nothing for a whole session?
