Federal Government Orders Consultants and Serving Doctors to Replace Medical Doctors

The Nigerian Federal Government has ordered the Consultants, resident doctors and doctors currently serving their country to replace medical doctors who are currently on strike because of the failure of the government to fulfill their promises and meet up with the doctor’s demands.

This seems petty of the Nigerian Government as they decided to avoid their responsibility and instead of fulfilling their promises, they looked for alternate means.

Also, at the same time, they managed to keep some doctors available in the hospital to treat and attend to patients especially in this era that a virus is on the loose and medical doctors are needed more than ever before.

So, rate the Federal Government on how good or bad they responded to the situation.

Was asking other doctors to take over the treatment of patients a sensible decision? Or was it just to escape owning up to their responsibilities?
