El-Rufai vs Naked Kaduna Women

The southern part of Kaduna which is majorly occupied by Christians has been under the siege of attacks by unknown gunmen and ethno-religious violence.

The women in Kaduna State have decided to take to the streets to protest against the governor over Kaduna’s rising insecurity. These women decided to show their grievance through their nakedness as a way to gain attention so that an end can be put to the endless killings in the southern part of the state.

This is not the first time women have protested naked in Nigeria. Protesting Naked can also be traced to as far back as 1929 in the eastern part of Nigeria by Aba women before other women from different states and tribes started adopting this act as a form of protest.

So, what do you think of a naked protest? As a woman can you engage in one if need be? Is it an effective form of protest?

What other means do you think women can adopt as an effective form of protest?
