The Department of State Services has allegedly invited Ibrahim Magu the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for questioning.
It isn’t clear if he was arrested or not although both parties denied that he was arrested, but the masses believe he was arrested because of the accusation of misconduct, insubordination, diversion of recovered loot and the recommendation of his removal by the Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
There’s also the believe that his questioning can also be tied to his high profiled lifestyle, withholding of EFCC files, obstruction of justice among many atrocities.
In 2016, the DSS also revealed that Magu lives in a N40 million rented house which was paid for by a retired Air Commodore.
Is this another power play between members of President Buhari’s cabal, just like we have seen many times in the past or Magu is guilty of all what he’s being accused of?
