COVID-19: Kogi State Chief Judge Dies At Isolation Center

It has been confirmed that Nasir Ajanah the Chief Judge of Kogi State passed away at an isolation in Gwagalada, Abuja.

He died from complications relating to the COVID-19.

Although, the Kogi State government has denied having any case of the virus, several cases have been confirmed. One of these confirmed cases is that of the aide to the Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello who died from the virus in an Abuja hospital. The president of the Kogi customary court of appeal, Ibrahim Shaibu Atadogaa also died from the virus just a week before Nasir’s death.

Nadir Ajanah who is the third confirmed case of the virus in Kogi will be laid to rest on Sunday.

Shouldn’t the kogi state government take the COVID-19 allegations more seriously now that a number of deaths have been recorded?

Is it possible that these cases of corona virus is as a result of not adhering to the social distancing and lack of the lockdown protocols as it is in Kogi right now?
