Still on covid-19, the Nigerian Government admonishes Nigerians to put on hold their Christmas and new year travelling as a way to prevent the spread of the corona virus.
This message was passed across by the chairman of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 during a press conference in Abuja on Monday.
I think that this admonishment given by the federal government was birthed out of the usual ritual of travelling back to home towns, families, and even friends places to celebrate or be with them during the festive period, and since the Christmas and new year is just around the corner, such is expected.
So I believe that it is in the best interest of Nigerians if they are urged not to travel around like they’ve always done before the start of the virus.
This will help to prevent the spread of the virus as well as reduce the risk of contracting the virus.
So, what do you think about this?
