The question that need to be asked is; How does virginity (female virginity) influence the standard of education in the state?
In Nigeria, secondary schools don’t even offer sex education, except for some private or missionary schools which only teach abstinence from sex which is still not sex education, so I’m not sure why the aide to the Governor of Cross River is concerned if secondary school girls are sexually active or not.
Perhaps this appeals to an average Nigerian’s moral standards, but asides that, Governmental aides should be focusing on more pressing and crucial matters to the state than students sexual lives.
What is your reaction to this?
Is the female sexuality really up for discussion or completely out of focus for a Governor’s aide?
